Farmland

Nigeria is blessed with many natural resources, great and industrious people, diverse and beautiful cultures and breathtaking scenery. Our beauty continues to remind of the greatness that lies within us as well as ahead of us of everything we have become and everything that has yet to be done. Our land is our pride and our heritage and forms the basis of our sovereignty and our export economy.

Farmland is a place to appreciate our cocoa, groundnut, cassava, rice, cocoyam, millet, cowpeas, oil palm, maize and sorghum fields and plantations as well as our livestock farms. It is a place to understand what really goes on in the field and appreciate the place from which many Nigerians get their daily bread. Farmland is about our young and old farmers who have made the fields their home. It’s about the wellspring from which our lives and cultures are continually renewed. It is about the opportunities for investment and harvest and prosperity. Farmland is about our fatherland. Let’s celebrate our land and appreciate the beauty in our diversity.
